Electric Voice Theatre are planning a series of projects for 2025 and beyond:-
Isabella’s Footsteps
A Minerva Scientifica project celebrating the life and work of marine biologist Isabella Gordon, Principal Scientific Officer 1928-1966, Department of Zoology, Natural History Museum (British Museum). There will be workshops in schools, community groups and universities culminating in performances from Keith in the north of Scotland to London in collaboration with the Natural History Museum.

Misfolding
A multi-media project exploring the science of Alzheimers, in collaboration with The Serpell Lab at Sussex University. You’ll find us at festivals, schools, and venues exploring science in sound; promoting women in science; igniting curiosity and creative thinking, offering a unique opportunity for innovative engagement and learning and exhibiting some of the composers’ works already commissioned.

Eliza Flower
We are planning to take this project to festivals and venues, schools, choirs & community centres across the UK. There will be workshops, talks & a semi-staged concert of songs, poetry and story-telling celebrating the radical feminist composer Eliza Flower (1803–1846) in the context of her contemporaries, Franz Schubert and Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel.
Mary Anning’s Sisters in Science
We have been working on projects about Mary Anning for the last 10 years. For the next 10 years we plan to expand our reach to those other women fossil experts, many of whom she knew well, like the Philpot sisters. We hope to be at a venue, school or science festival near you!
