If there is one skill that often gets overlooked, and yet is fundamental to the quality of singing, whether in an ensemble, choir or as a soloist, it is listening.

We will spend this workshop day listening to ourselves and each other as we journey through a body and breath vocal warm up and a series of exercises designed to inspire deep aural awareness, increase confidence and expand each singer’s musical world.

There will be short sections of music for you to memorize in advance, so the earlier you apply the better your experience will be. Please let us know if you would need support with reading music, or have a visual impairment so that we can send the most suitable materials for you.

A rare opportunity to work with
Electric Voice Theatre’s
expert acapella ensemble techniques
through the music of women composers
