Hope for Essex

a Semi-Staged Reading of a New Music-Theatre Work
by
Frances M Lynch

The final event of our Echoes from Essex Project in this special Essex 2020 year which brings together all the work done by our Essex team of researchers, musicians, singers, scientists and workshop participants.  This recording, taken from the live zoom event, gives a flavour of the live experience – with stories and songs, commissioned music and art works, the historical characters we introduced during our “Soundings from Essex” events and the marvellous contributions of the children involved in the Splash, Burble, Gurgle and Whoosh workshops.

A celebration of the future of STEAMM in Essex

Lauren Lister – British Sign Language Interpreter

Hope is just a girl from Essex
trying to find her way in the world,
but, Hope is lost.
What path should she take?
Help is at hand from women
who have chosen their own paths in Essex
and made history to be proud of.
Will there be Hope for Essex?
